About Lobo
You’ll know exactly who is doing your work.
Lobo Tax & Advisory is a founder-led practice. Sebastian Orlando, EA, leads every engagement and is accountable for the advice you receive, and you can reach him directly.

The founder
A new practice, built on years of experience.
Sebastian founded Lobo to give clients one advisor who knows their situation and plans ahead with them.
Before starting Lobo, he built more than four years of professional tax experience across three different tax firms. That work spanned individual and business taxation, compliance, planning and advisory, and exposed him to a wide range of clients, tax situations, workflows and approaches to client service.
Lobo brings together what he learned in those environments, including what served clients well and what they wished were different, into a more personal, forward-looking approach to tax preparation and advisory.

How the practice works
A long-term partner, not a once-a-year transaction.
- i.
Proactive, not reactive.
Planning happens during the year, while there is still time to act, not only at filing time.
- ii.
Plain English.
You should understand your return and your options. We explain the reasoning, not just the result.
- iii.
Grounded in the rules.
Recommendations rest on tax law and documented reasoning, not internet shortcuts. If a strategy doesn’t fit your facts, we’ll tell you.
- iv.
Remote-first and personal.
We work with clients wherever they are, and you work directly with the professional handling your return.
The credential
What is an Enrolled Agent?
Enrolled Agents are federally authorized tax practitioners with unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS, and must complete ongoing continuing education.
In plain terms: an Enrolled Agent can stand in for you with the IRS, in audits, collections and appeals, as well as prepare your return and plan with you. (At Lobo, representation is a separate engagement.) The credential is granted by the IRS, typically after a three-part exam; it is not an endorsement of any firm or practitioner.
Because it is a federal credential, it isn’t limited to a single state, which suits clients across the country and abroad.
